My first job in high school was as a camp counselor. Totally agree with everything you shared, esp the innovation/traditional balance! Learned so much from the experience. It was so hard but I miss it. And even though it's been a few decades, pretty sure I can still gracefully remove splinters from screaming children.
I couldn't agree more, Erik! Honestly the hardest job I've ever had, but so many great lessons learned. Oh man, I totally hear you re: camp injuries. I had to learn how to navigate who actually needed to make a trip to the nurse and who just wanted to skip tennis 🤣. Got pretty good at it if I do say so myself.
