Hi Andrea! First I would ask..."Do we need a community? Or do we need an audience?" What differentiates a community is that the members have a mutual concern for one another, and there is some level of desire to help/engage with one another. I would start by conducting research on your ideal community participants. I touched on some research questions in my recent blog post (but honestly this a BIG topic and my questions only touch the surface): jennydotcommunity.substack.com/p/w.... Hope this helps!

This is very helpful, Jenny. I didn't think about the difference between an audience and a community. Thank you!

Hi Jenny! What if you need community? I am building a product that will benefit from the community. I want to create a Forem community and gain some relevant users. But I don't know where to start.

edit: I mean I don't know where to start gaining users and community creating. I can handle technical things.
