Love this post! Hits on so many great points, but the concept overall if so often missed. Many orgs look at community as a series of programs to be managed, and often miss that in fact it’s a whole product of its own and should incorporate similar ‘product management’ approaches as you address above.
Too often I see early CM’s (myself included once upon a time) think they need to come up with everything themselves, but in fact, co-creation with end-users is actually the more effective approach. (That’s probably a whole other post tho! Lol)
