Missed Opportunity: Founder Story

Hey everyone,

I didn't intend on starting a community with

It came out of a raw experience I had in writing out my life story: (spontaneously spurred me to launch the community post experience).

Having been inspired by a friend's story:

Both are 15 minute reads that may blow your mind. About pages will never be the same again.

My point? 99% of communities I have come across still don't have a raw founder story and lack a human face. @JackButcher is a great example of a community with a cult follwing around his personal growth story. I think it's a missed oppurtunity for attracting a cult like respect inside.

If anyone ever needs guidance here storytelling wise, holla.

Hi Kristian,

The Storytella is a wonderful project! I like this narrative style. I am a serial creator and a lifelong thinker who is passionate about life reflection. Initially, I was influenced by Chris Argyris’ Action Science and Donald Schön’s Theory in Practice and The Reflective Practitioner.

I wrote my first learning autobiography in 2015 and was attracted to biographical studies. In 2016, I developed a framework called Career Landscape which is inspired by Activity Theory, Communities of Practice, and other ideas. I recently reconstructed the framework with more theoretical resources. The outcome is a new method named the Life-as-Activity approach.
